Gargoyle Wall: My first Grade VI 6 winter climb.

Along with two good buddies, Nathan Adam and Huw Scott. We climbed our first grade VI. I suspect it may have been all of our first grade VI 6 leads and it remains a particularly stand out day for me. From walking in at 0630 "taps off", dying from the exertion of trying to keep up with Huw bounding up the approach slope to No. 3 Buttress, to the Brocken spectre and rare autumnal sunshine in an otherwise usually stormy period of Scottish Early season mixed climbing.
I edited the following video, because this was the Covid Lockdown winter and we were bored, unoccupied and clearly having a rubbish time here in Fort William...
