Gargoyle Wall on Ben Nevis: My first Grade VI 6 winter climb.

Along with two good buddies, Nathan Adam and Huw Scott. We climbed our first winter grade VI together. It remains a particularly stand out day for me. From walking in at 0630 "taps off", dying from the exertion of trying to keep up with Huw bounding up the approach slope to No. 3 Buttress, to the Brocken spectre and rare autumnal sunshine in an otherwise usually stormy period of Scottish Early season mixed climbing.
