Our Story
Founded by Louis Kennedy in 2023 in the stunning landscapes of Fort William, Scotland, we are dedicated to sharing the thrill and beauty of climbing in some of Scotland’s most breathtaking locations. Louis' journey into the world of climbing began in his early teens in the railway arches of London Bridge's iconic climbing establishment, The Arch Climbing Wall. In 2016, aged 18 and seeking greater challenges, he ventured to the Scottish Highlands — a move that would shape his passion for climbing. Since then, he has climbed extensively at home in the Highlands, as well as abroad, visiting: France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Spain, Canada and Norway to name a few places. He is a qualified Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI) and as a Winter Mountain Leader (WML). Louis now blends his personal climbing experiences with his work as an instructor and coach. During the off-season, he expands his skill set as an Industrial Rope Access Technician, further enhancing his expertise in climbing and safety. Louis' favourite climbing experiences include: visiting the enchanting Isle of Mingulay in the Outer Hebrides, guiding the iconic Old Man of Hoy, deep water soloing on the Isle of Mull with his girlfriend Ellie, climbing the Westgrat (ED1, 6B, 1000m) on the majestic Salbitschijen in Switzerland in a single 22 hour “car to car” push, bolting and climbing "Into the Blue" with a group of friends - a stunning 360m 7B sport route on the ginormous Mount Kalamos sea cliff on the Isle of Anafi in Greece and virtually any climb on the west coast of Scotland - home to word class rock and adventure!
