When necessary, we collaborate with our trusted sub-contractors, each of whom shares our passion for climbing and the stunning mountains of Scotland. Our entire hill team is not only qualified and insured but also dedicated to creating safe and inspiring climbing experiences. Louis is a proud member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI). This affiliation guarantees high-quality, professional instruction and adherence to the highest safety standards. Our Story
Founded in Fort William by Louis Kennedy in 2023. Louis' journey into the world of climbing began in his early teens in the railway arches of London Bridge's iconic climbing establishment, The Arch Climbing Wall. In 2016, aged 18 and seeking greater challenges, he ventured to the Scottish Highlands. Since then, he has climbed extensively at home in the Highlands, as well as abroad. He is a qualified Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI) and Winter Mountain Leader (WML). Louis now blends his personal climbing experiences with his work as an instructor and coach. During the off-season, he expands his skill set as an Industrial Rope Access Technician, further enhancing his expertise in climbing and safety. At Kennedy Mountaineering, we believe that climbing is more than just a sport; it’s a way of life filled with infinite adventure.
