Who We are.
Kennedy Mountaineering is a mountain adventure company owned by Professional Mountaineering Instructor Louis Kennedy.
Based in Fort William, Scotland. I offer a range of experiences and training courses throughout the Scottish Highlands.
My aim is to provide a personalised experience tailored to your individual needs.
From learn to lead rock climbing courses, guided classic rock climbs and scrambles to Cuillin Munro guiding, Ben Nevis classic Mountaineering routes and skills courses.

Our Story
Kennedy Mountaineering was created in 2023 after I passed my Winter Mountain Leader and Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Qualifications through Glenmore Lodge.
​
I first began climbing in my early teens and was very quickly utterly obsessed - I am amazed and grateful that I am now able to share my passion for climbing in my work... My favourite discipline is adventurous summer trad routes and grovelly winter mixed climbing antics.
​
I began guiding in 2017 as a Summer Mountain Leader. Leading days on the Pony Track on Ben Nevis, National 3 Peaks events, multi activity days and leading hill walking expeds with youth groups throughout the Highlands. I now split my work life between guiding/ instructing in Lochaber, Glencoe and the Isle of Skye and working as a rope access technician in the South of England. I am increasingly trying to climb as much as possible again...
